James Pinkert graduated from DePaul College of Law in 1987 and is a member of both the Florida and Illinois Bars. While living in Chicago, Mr. Pinkert practiced transactional law in the transactional real estate departments at Antenow & Fink and Altheimer & Grey. Thereafter, he spent time as general counsel of a Japanese-owned trading and distribution company that imported and exported thousands of tons of steel from Russia, Japan, Venezuela and other countries to help the company maintain a competitive advantage in the United States and international marketplaces. Mr. Pinkert spent time honing his trial skills at the Miami-Dade State Attorney
's Office before returning to private practice years later. Mr. Pinkert now focuses his practice on overtime pay and employment issues, personal injury litigation, product liability law and commercial litigation.
